Selecting the paint schema and colors are one of the few purely aesthetic choices an owner can make for his future bird. While this is likely the source of many sleepless nights, it's also probably the most fun part too.

As a general rule, the Columbia fleet (ie. pre-Cessna) was painted while the Corvalis fleet was/is using decals. The color choices varied overtime (limited at first, wildly varied later, more limited later still) and so did the various paint schemas used. What follows is a summary of these choices.
