Diagnostics mode


  1. turn the ACCS on
  2. depress the ON button three times in succession
  3. verify fault code. You should see E00, if you see E01-E17 you have an active fault. If you have no faults proceed to step 4, if you see a fault write it down and contact your maintenance facility.
  4. turn the ACCS off, this will get you out of the diagnostics page. You may use the ACCS as normal.

Fault codes


E00: No faults
E01: Cabin Temp Sensor-Shorted
E02: Cabin Temp Sensor-open
E03: Evaporator Temp Sensor-Shorted
E04: Evaporator Temp Sensor-Open
E05: not currently used
E06: not currently used
E07: OAT Sensor-Shorted
E08: OAT Sensor-Open
E09: not currently used
E10: Heater Blend Air Actuator-Open
E17: No Communication with ECU

Advanced Diagnostics Mode


While the Fault Code display is active, press and hold the system "ON" button for 5 seconds. Then press the "ON" button to cycle through the following:

CAB: cabin temperature sensor reading
EUAP: evaporator coil temperature sensor reading
HEAT: ECS mixing valve position (a percentage of open)
A-C: VCS compressor command (ON or OFF)
FAN: Blower speed-evaporator or heater/defog (percent of max)
Then press "OFF" to return to normal system operation.

Firmware version


While in "Advanced Diagnostics" mode, press and holding ON button for 5 seconds. Then press the "ON" button to cycle through the following:

ECU: ECU Module Firmware Version
CtrL: Control Head Firmware Version

Then press "OFF" to return to normal system operation.
